Can I Ignore One Cockroach in My House?
Verdict:
PROBABLY NOT
Probably not. One cockroach does not prove you have an infestation, especially if it is a large outdoor species that entered near a door or window. Remove it, document what it looked like, inspect nearby hiding places, and set sticky monitors; act promptly if it is a small indoor species, appears in daylight, or comes with droppings, egg cases, nymphs, or more sightings.
