Where bleach can go
- GroutVerdict: YES, WITH LIMITSYes, but only occasionally on intact, sealed grout when the grout and sealer instructions allow bleach. Use the product’s labeled dilution, ventilate the room, rinse as directed, and test colored grout in a hidden spot first. Avoid unsealed, porous, damaged, or recolored grout, and never mix bleach with any other cleaner.
- Stainless SteelVerdict: RISKYUsually no. Bleach can attack stainless steel and cause discoloration or permanent pitting, especially when it is strong, warm, left sitting, or trapped in seams. If bleach has already splashed onto the surface, rinse it off immediately with clean water and dry it; use it deliberately only if the exact product manual provides a bleach procedure.
